Look on the back of the coin to see if there's a small mint mark letter. It may be blank or there may be a D, O or S.

Very worn condition - $180

Moderately worn - $1,310

Slightly worn - $1,560

Almost no wear - $5,012

Uncirculated - $11,560 to $28,130 depending on quality

"D" mint mark (Dahlonega, GA):

Very worn - $180

Moderately worn - $6,250

Slightly worn - $7,030

Almost no wear - $25,284

Uncirculated - $84,500 to $90,350

"O" mint mark (New Orleans):

Moderately worn - $246

Slightly worn - $500

Almost no wear - $1,938

Uncirculated - $9,410 to $10,840

"S" mint mark (San Francisco):

Very worn - $210

Moderately worn - $240

Slightly worn - $330

Almost no wear - $1,308

Uncirculated - $4,810 to $32,890

DISCLAIMER: The values quoted are the best available, but may vary due to market fluctuations. Also the wholesale (buying) price of a coin will be less than the selling (retail) price. A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation based on inspection of the coin.
