What condition is the coin in? That is the most important thing in evaluating a coin. The 1893 Liberty 5 cent coin (the V is the roman numeral for 5) is not a rare coin but it does have some value. A well worn coin will be valued between $6.00 and $20.00. A very lightly worn coin will be closer to $100.00. However these are just rough estimates without knowing the coins grade.
