The last U.S. silver dollars were made in 1935.

Dollar coins weren't issued again until 1971. Dollars dated 1971 to 1999 are made of copper-nickel, not silver. Dollars dated 2000 and later are manganese-brass.

Please check your coin again and post a new question. There was, however, a silver half-dollar coin. It was minted with 90% Silver and 10% Copper. The Franklin head half dollar was made from 1948 to 1963.
