The Mormon Pioneers moved west on the Mormon trail between 1845 and 1870, when the train came through and became the more common mode of transportation. The biggest years for travel on the Mormon trail were in the 1850's. After the railroad, Mormons continued to move west, but usually came individually as the need for organized companies no longer existed, so the numbers are harder to pinpoint.
the pioneers were hard working people that wanted to take there country forward they also needed to survive more than a week on a wagon this shows that the pioneers will do anything to take there country forward theyhad a big wagon but it could'nt weigh alot

Pioneers on the Mormon Trail took essential supplies to sustain their journey, including food items like flour, sugar, and meat, as well as tools for farming and building. They also brought personal belongings, clothing, and often livestock for both transportation and sustenance. Additionally, many traveled in covered wagons or handcarts, carrying their families and possessions across the rugged terrain to seek religious freedom in Utah.

Pioneers typically took a variety of weapons for protection and hunting during their westward journeys. Common firearms included rifles, such as the Kentucky long rifle, and muskets, which were essential for defense against potential threats and for hunting game. Additionally, many pioneers carried pistols and knives for personal protection and utility. These weapons were crucial for survival in the often harsh and unpredictable frontier environment.

Public storage is used to store the items in your home that you don't have room for at home. You can take and store items in the storage unit and have access to your items when you need them. A few good things to store are seasonal items, and other items you don't need more than half the year.
If you are referring to the "Old West" travels, then these would be some of the items they would take: coffee, sugar, flour, lard, bacon, beans, cornmeal and other associated food stuff.
