Fort Miami was a fort built on the Maumee River at the eastern edge of the present-day city of Maumee, Ohio by the British.

Sutter's fort is still standing and it never did "fall." No battles took place at the fort. It was built for people who came to CA to settle. Today, it is a state park and you can tour the fort.

First of all, Fort Custer Recreation Area is a state park, not a national one. It is "man-made" in the sense that most of the recreational improvements were built by humans. The lakes, however, were present when the land was taken for military training. Interestingly, no fort was ever built on the land.
