America's population at the beginning of world war 1 was considered mobilization. After World War One fifth of the world's population was infected.

Germany was the only nation to give America problems before the war. German submarines threatened the East Coast and its foreign minister sent a telegram to Mexico offering German supported for an invasion of America.
