P.G.T. Beauregard, a Confederate general during the American Civil War, primarily lived in Louisiana. He was born in New Orleans in 1818 and later settled on a plantation in the state. After the war, he also spent time in various locations, including Charleston, South Carolina, and eventually returned to New Orleans.
More commonly known as P.G.T. Beauregard. He was a Southern general who was in command at the First Battle of Bull Run. Johnston and Beauregard would argue over who should take credit for this victory. He's a relatively minor figure in the war.
