The USA is an agricultural nation; we farm every state. Florida is famous for oranges, Georgia for peaches, and Maine for cranberries and potatoes. Iowa is known for corn, while Illinois grows lots of sorghum. Kansas = wheat, while Hawaii is famous for pineapples - and macadamia nuts. California grows salad vegetables such as lettuce, and nuts such as pistachios and almonds. Texas and Arizona (and California) is cattle country.
Even the northern tier of states are farm states; Montana for sheep and cows, Wisconsin for cheese and dairy products, the Dakotas for wheat.
Indian farming is generally done using old-fashioned and traditional methods. And basically US farming is done using modern technology in agriculture.

Most of the land is not arable, so it cannot be used for farming. In general it is used for construction, tourism (in the desert areas) as well as Date and camel farming
