The Middle Colonies exported so much grain they beacame known as "The Breadbasket Colonies"
Middle Colonies were known as the "Bread Basket" of the colonies. They were mostly farmers who grew crops like wheat and other food stuffs
they ate chicken,bread,and takis
They grew bread,rice,corn,and tabaco
Because their best crop was wheat and it produced the most of it out of the 3 colony groups.
