The SNCC, or the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee
Free blacks were not helped by education reform.
The SCLC's goal was to "coordinate and support nonviolent direct action" to end segregation. It was an organization that got involved in local black communities and helped to form strategies to overcome the problems of racial segregation. It funded and sent representatives to guide or lead the various operations it supported, including protests, literacy education for blacks, and sometimes anti-poverty programs.
After the Civil War the Freedman's' Bureau helped new freed blacks get good jobs, a education, and medical care.
horibly they never got anything and white people treated them unfairly even some places didn't give sirvice to colered people. the negro people had to go to the back of places to get in if they gave sirvice to the negros.
The freedmen's bureau is important because it helped to better the lives of blacks after slavery.
Martin Luther King Jr. helped stop the segregation of blacks and whites in the south.
It helped blacks be treated equally
the NAACP mostly helped blacks. they did not usually do anything about the KKK, but mostly were helping with bigger things such as segregation
