off the top of my head Cotton & Tobacco developed in the south, I'm not sure if those are technically industries though. In the North they Developed the textile industries that used the cotton to make clothing and other foods. I'm sure there are more I'd just need to do a little research this will get you started & headed in the right direction. just remember in the South they had the slaves that would do the physical labor.
