The Nighst of labor failed because of strikes, burnouts, and in 1911 there was a fire at the triangle shirtwaist factory to encourgae labor union growth. the workers at the factory locked the doors and none of the workers could escape. so many people died from the burning. it was a horrible sight!

Some Labor Unions Failed Because They Failed To Meet Everyone Needs. Such As The Knights Of Labor During The 18OO's. That Was One Big Union, There Was Different Races, Sex's & Also People With Different Skill Levels. The Union Could Not Meet Everyone Needs

Example: I'm A Teacher & My Friend Is A Plumber. We Really Don't Have TO Much In Common.

So Labors Failed Because Of The Ability To Meet Everyone Needs.

The American Federation of Labor (AFL) is longest standing federation of labor units in the United States. Despite its prestige, the AFL has had its fair share of upsets. For example, the Federation extolled the values of equality, yet discriminated against black workers in the late nineteenth century. The AFL also lobbied Congress to reinstate the Chinese Exclusion Act, discouraging consumers to purchase cigars rolled by Chinese workers, and approached the treatment of women workers much in the same way as black workers, perpetuating the long-standing attitudes of both racism and sexism.
