Well, i think because women years before argued that women should have the same rights as men and then they realized women were important. But some already realized it before, but did not make a law for that.

Who had the right to vote first women or black men?

The 15th amendment in 1870 gave black men the right to vote first. Women got the right to vote in 1919, a half century later. Even though former female, white abolitionists had organized and fought diligently alongside black male and black female abolitionists, several famous black male abolitionists abandoned the suffragettes in order to achieve their vote first. This caused a falling out between the two groups. Ultimately, black women, white women, and all women including those who had fought for abolition all had to wait a half century before getting the right to vote. Many black and white female abolitionists died before any woman was given the right to vote which was a disappointment to them for the rest of their lives. Similarly, black men held office for the first time right after the Civil War while women of all ethnicities' political opportunities, right to have property, and rights to divorce took decades longer to achieve than that of black men. The 14th and 15th amendments deliberately included language that would keep women of any ethnicity from enhanced rights.

Did black women get the right to vote when women did?

United StatesIn the United States, yes. The Nineteenth Amendment ratified on August 18, 1920 gave all women the right to vote. The Fifteenth Amendment ratified on February 3, 1870 had given African American men the right to vote. However, poll taxes, literacy tests, threats, refusal to allow voter registration and other obstacles in the Southern States prevented African Americans from exercising that right for almost one hundred years.South AfricaIn South Africa, no. White women were given the right to vote in 1930, but black women were not given the right to vote until the end of apartheid in 1994.

What would give women the right to vote do to politics?

The women's suffrage movement that finally led to their right to vote gave politics a broader span of "voices" on election issues. Generally speaking, it took Western nations some time before women were given the rights they were entitled too. In the US, the 19th amendment of 1920 gave women their voting rights. By comparison it took the UK until 1928 to give women the same rights that American women had.
