By law women are "apparently" equal to men, this I'm sad to say is not the case. Many women are objectised (seen as an object, not a person) or are paid less than a man doing the exact same job. This is because laws have changed but prejudices and views are taking time to catch up. The sad thing is many the law may have changed but things still go on and women can be too scared to speak out.
