What type of worms does your dog have? Do you have him protected against heartworm? Tapeworm is only one type of worm that a dog can get. It is also transmittable to humans. Roundworm is another type of worm. Each require different types of treatment. With tapeworm you can see small white worms actually swimming in the feces of the animal. It can be stubborn to treat. If the dog has fleas no amount of de worming may help, as the dog gets these worms from ingesting the flea larvae and can keep getting it again and again until the fleas are gone. The best thing to do is call a vet on the phone atleast who will make the best recommendations. Ask around to find the least expensive place if you do take the pet in for observation. The vet can tell you how to treat over the counter next time perhaps. Also some pet store owners are pretty knowledgable about these things. Hold onto the receipt for the worm treatment so you can get your money back if you take your dog in for treatment. Luckily there are treatments for all these things available and once gone stay gone for good with proper precautions. Good luck! : )
Most medications are given once every 2-3 weeks.. until there is no evidence left of infestation: However, it really does depend on the type of worms, the severity of the infestation, and the type of medication being used.... You may be medicating your dog as often as once or twice a day or as little as once every 3 months..... Please consult your vet to determine what the best course of treatment would be for your individual situation..... NEVER self medicate an animal unless directed to do so by your vet....
Flea baths for cats are only necessary if fleas are present. If fleas are present, flea products should be used according to the label.
You should probably ask your vet for advice on that.
Your veterinarian should have the appropriate medication to treat for fleas. It is best to check with him/her before buying any over the counter flea treatments. Some OTC flea medications can be potentially toxic to the animal (ie: Hartz brand).
You give flea medication by first clicking shop on the tabs above. Then you buy it with either foogems or foodollars. And lastly you go on your pets profile and if it says they have not been treated by fleas then just give them the medication you bought.
If you put it on him prior to the bath, not likely. Read the label. Some are water proof, some are not. Give your dog a bath, wait until he's dry and then apply the flea treatment. I have been told to wait till the next day to put it on after a bath... Apparently, this is because the flea meds are released through the dogs oil glands, and you wash the oil away when you bathe your dog. I have also noticed that, even though it is water proof, it's not always soap proof... some of them seem to be less effective if you give your dog a bath, say, halfway or so through the month. Someone once suggested "non-detergent" soap, but I have yet to find such a thing... I usually just give him a hose down if he's that dirty, or spot wash him, avoiding the application sites as much as possible.

Your veterinarian should send your dog home with some pain medication. Under no circumstances should you give your dog human medication - you could kill her.
You use a flea repellent spray. You could also take them to the vet and let them use a anti flea shampoo. Before they get fleas, you should give them some type of medicine to prevent fleas.
Different 'medicines' could have different answers, it also may depend on the weight of the dog. Read the packaging or consult a veterinarian.
