After having their anal glands removed, some dogs may continue to scoot due to residual discomfort or irritation in the area. It is important to consult with your veterinarian to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment for your dog's continued scooting behavior.
Your dog will naturally express his own anal glands upon having a soli bowel movement. However the anal sacs can become infected which will mean the dog can not express his own anal glands and your vet will need to do this and also a course of antibiotics will be required.
If she's not fixed she could be in heat. Otherwise, I have no real idea. Could be a number of things. I'd take her to a vet. It could also be that the dog's anal glands need to be expressed. A vet can do this for you quickly and cheaply, and probably show you how to do it yourself. Just so you're aware in advance, the smell is disgusting and if it were me, I'm all about dropping the dog off and paying the vet $10! =) Certain breeds need to have their glands expressed more than others, maybe every month or two for the "worst" cases.
All mammals (both male and female) are characterised by having mammary glands.
It is likely that lymph nodes ("glands") in your next will be back to normal within months of having chickenpox.

A late period would not necessarily cause a vaginal itch and irritation. The itch and irritation could be caused by a yeast infection. A doctor will be able to diagnose the problem.
Yes, there are oil glands on the back. These glands, also known as sebaceous glands, produce sebum, an oily substance that helps keep the skin moisturized and protected. The distribution of these glands varies among individuals, with some people having more active oil glands on their backs than others.
The vaginal irritation can be a infection and not related to any pregnancy but if you are late and have had unprotected intercourse, there is a risk.
When having a formal affair then put on the invitation 'formal dress.'
yes, bacteria would be a problem, logically having plastic near the skin would cause irritation. But was is the cure?
The same reason we scratch ours. Dogs itch too, you know. This can be caused by impacted anal glands. They have scent glands right outside the anus, and they sometimes get impacted and/or infected. That causes pain, burning, and itching, and dogs will scoot to try to relieve the discomfort. In this case, you will have to drain the glands for them, and if you are unable or unwilling, you should see a dog groomer or a vet. If it is not too bad, you or a dog groomer can treat it. Otherwise, you should take the dog to a vet.
