I have 2 puppies which are 3/4 blue pit bulldog and 1/4 blue tick hound. They are very smart, but are very strong-willed animals. They're only 14 weeks and are already house trained, fetching, sitting, and catch on very fast to new commands. Again, being pits, they are strong-willed, so sometimes they are disobedient and don't want to do what you're trying to get to, such as coming inside. They told me that they're great hunting dogs. These will never go hunting, so I can't vouch for it. Hope this helps.Source: personal experience
