The two differential diagnoses that come to mind are calf diptheria or chronic pneumonia. However, your veterinarian will have to take a look at the calf to see what may be going on.
When a calf suddenly stops eating from the bottle this is an indication that the calf may be ill. The calf should be showing other signs such as coughing or wheezing (pneumonia or cold), cloudy eyes are also an indication for pneumonia. For further diagnostic, contact your veterinarian to determine what is the problem and how to administer the necessary medicine.
It's possible that she knew something was terribly wrong with it, or else something clicked in her head that makes me believe something's terribly wrong with that cow. You might want to consider culling her if you can't figure out any reason--health related or not--that would make her do this to her calf.
First make sure if the calf is indeed nursing from the wrong cow. Then separate the calf and his mother into a different pen or pasture and let them stay in there for a few weeks. Make sure it's just the pair that's in there and there's no other cows in there with them that the calf may decide to latch onto.
BLEAT. It can also be the characteristic cry of a goat or calf. Bleat can be the verb to utter the cry of a sheep, goat, or calf. bleating, bleated, bleats
It's dystocia. The calf hasn't completely gone into normal position for birth, and thus the uterine contractions that get the calf to the birth canal were probably too wrong or timed wrong so that the calf is at a position that makes it difficult for it to be born normally. It's not normal to have a calf with his leg over his shoulder, never heard of such a thing happening because a calf's legs are not built nor positioned like a human baby's. The leg may be turned back (bent at the knee) or all the way back from the shoulder, but never twisted around like that. A calf's head is pretty hard to be twisted too; calves will have their heads turned back or too far down.
I have never heard of such, the object is to chase the calf. As quickly as possible, stop the calf, then rope three holves together. Sedating the calf would be cheating both the rider and the judging. Drugging any animal for performance purposes during a competition is wrong and wouldn't be allowed, if known about.
Okapis are usually silent, but do make a sort of coughing noise. This noise is usually made when a mother and her calf are separated.
Calf. The same terms that apply to cattle generally apply to bison.
Yes. That's completely wrong. Veal is meat from a calf.

Calves with some sort of infection, like Joint Ill or Navel Ill, will loose their hair. It is imperative that you give the calf necessary antibiotics to help him fight off the infection.
