There are several possible causes of this. First, the smell of a wet dog is special and distinctive, and many people find the odor to be annoying or offensive. This odor is caused by the dog's natural body odor being wicked to the surface and aerosolized by the bath - once the dog dries off the smell shoud dissipate.
If your dog was given a bath to get a strong odor off, you may have to repeat the shampooing and rinsing several times to get the stench out. This is particularly true if your dog was sprayed by a skunk or has rolled on some dead critter.
If none of the above works, you should take your dog to a veterinarian for an examination. Other causes of a persistent off odor include infections or metabolic diseases that will need a veterinarian's treatment.

ITS CALLED "WET DOG" THAT MEANS UR DOG IS STILL GONNA SMELL EVEN IF HE/SHE/IT IS CLEAN....
Bath your dog several times in hot water with a detorterizing/ scented shampoo. You could take a cloth and pour some vinigar on it and wet your dog down with it, that would get the smell out. Just be prepared to have a vinigar smelling dog for a while until the smell of vinigar wears off.
