I'm not sure what kind of warnings you are referring to, however, Second Life (SL) does have a warning system as part of its enforcement strategy.

Much like getting into trouble in the real world, the SL police (Linden Labs) issue warnings to first time offenders and for minor offenses. Offenses are outlined and described in the SL TOS (Terms of Service) Agreement that every user must agree to. Further violations beyond a warning can result in account suspension or deletion (permanent SL ban).

Are there slaves in second life?

Yes there are slaves in second life. The BDSM community in second life is rather large and there are all sort of types of slaves there. You need to remember that the avatars in second life are real people in real life and therefor they are the ones who choose how to live their "second life".
