Sure, if you can do this one fast this is enough to take down mushroom gorges champion. mushroom gorge-start with a speed up when you get next to the mushroom a little down the huge mushroom (you must have manual for this) and keep going until you reach the edge and LET GO! hit the mushroom and go you'lll hit a cave and if right you'll bounce a few times and goombas? had i oh yeah just past the finish line to lap 2. toads factory-head to the water part with super speed (best with mach bike) and leap over passing a huge massive part over there. DK summit-you need practice for this so move on to SNES ghost valley 2 how ever a place has 2 gaps hop over them with strong speed (I'm not talking like bullet bike and mach bike try sneakster or spear) and tricks with that advance. SNES ghost valley 2 a trap! the hole and on the left circular ? block so jump on the hole a trick turning right,you might hit a block and fall....dang it! go again do it and you seem to skip a huge massive part. rainbow road-muchly too hard but even SNEAKSTER!!!!!!!!!! doesn't work but mach bike perfect well.......um.....yeah.......nnnnn.....nnnnonnnoo........nooyesssss! snekster is never to easy to get to that part........with practice in DK summit and SNES ghost valley 2 there goes the final jump BBBBBAAAAAAAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so head there with super strong extra big huge enourmous speed to pulse it up 2 jumps the first one gives you the right to go narrow a bit but the second one the finale is to go streight leading to 12th to 1st and waaapow!

Two more things, in daisy circut, look for a house with an open door, I don't get why somone would have a staircase right in front of their door but anyway'just ride right up,and in wario's gold mine, follow the mine karts off the edge and you'll find a secret tunnel.

There are many shortcuts in Mario Kart Ds.

Here are some that I know of- that's nearly all of them.

Mushroom Cup:

Figure 8 Circuit- none

Yoshi Falls: none

Cheep Cheep Beach: none

Luigi's Mansion: none

Flower Cup:

Desert Hills: In Desert Hills, when you pass the first obstacle (the moving cactus guy called Pokey) and the big hill, there is a place with tiny hills and lots of Pokeys and ? boxes. Get a ? box and TRY to get the Speed Shroom (the mushroom), then keep going until the sharp bend. there is a little hill on the left, and right before you go up onto it, (make sure you're in a position that allows you to 'land' on the TRACK and not the sand) use the Shroom and you'll fly over other racers REALLY high so be sure to steer well because you go very fast. Use the same cheat on all the other slopes in the game!

Delfino Square

Go up to the place where there's a pier and the sea and the fruit-stalls, and you'll see 2 small wooden crates and next to them there's a gap in the wall. Use a speed mushroom (Speed Shroom) to go through because it's dusty. Steer VERY carefully BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL LAND IN THE SEA. THIS SHORTCUT IS FOR EXPERTS. So if you can do it, whoa, you're good at Mario Kart...

In daisy circuit there is a set of stairs there find them and go up you will get a special box. Also check "Where are the secret passages in Mario Kart Wii" for a shortcut in Maple Treeway. But no there is not a shortcut in EVERY race.

There are also two shortcuts in Delfino Pier, both requiring a speed boost. In ghost valley there is a risky shortcut. I have managed it with no speed boosts in time trials with the torpedo bike infallably, but in the races it doesn't seem to work. After the first left turn, carry straight on over a small jump over a gap, then turn right sharp. In Wario's Goldmine, after the jump, if you follow the purple track to the left there is a shortcut. Be sure that you won't run into the back of a cart before you take it.

On coconut mall, go up the first pair of escalators and take the path on the right, and there should be a shop shortcut with a yellow pianata waving.

At the start on Maple Treeway, go to the right (On Mirror mode its left) and there is a shortcut with items and two speed boosts.
