Different PSPs have different amounts of storage. As far as purchasing more memory for it, I am not sure. The best place to find PSP information is playstation.com

No, it won't. The PSP's memory stick is for storage of saved game files and such, having more space will not improve the PSP's performance. Technically a PSP should never have a performance problem - such an issue would usually point to some kind of fault, or using obsolete firmware.

PSP GO is better because it has allot more memory than the psp 3000
PSP 2000 is the second PSP Version also known as the PSP slim. There is a newer version called PSP 3000 which more things were added to.
