My Mac mini (OS X 10.5.6m 1.8 Ghz C2D, and 1GB RAM) plays Spore fine, it is set up to an Olvia 37" LCD (which is also my primary TV) with a VGA cable, which I'm switching over to HDMI with the DVI adapter.
The only way it will run on my Mac mini (it is stock, NO hacks) is if my display is set to 800 x 600 and 75mhz, given that, I've logged hours of entertainment with my son on Spore. It is essential that your display is set to 800 x 600, it will only play on a Mac mini this way.
Spore needs a pretty strong system to support it. Newer Mac mini's can do it. Elsewhere a user reported "The only way it will run on my Mac mini (it is stock, NO hacks) is if my display is set to 800 x 600 and 75mhz, given that, I've logged hours of entertainment with my son on Spore."The Mac mini is not a laptop. No laptop, regardless of design, can support this game unless it is fairly new.
Memory is installed on the Apple Mac Mini by turning it upside down and removing the cover. The memory module can then be easily removed and replaced.
No. The graphics "card" in a Mac mini is integrated into the motherboard. There are also no available expansion slots in a Mac mini. You can see some photos of the inside of a Mac mini in the "Related Links" link below.
The Mac OS X Server software (See links below) can be installed on any modern Apple Mac computer or can be purchased ready installed on a Mac Mini ready to go.
To install an additional memory to a Mac mini, one should visit the local Apple store for information from experts. An additional memory can be purchased from the Apple store.

Yes. Galactic Adventures does not come with Spore, and requires you to have Spore installed already.

If it is the Mac version of Spore and the Mac has an Intel processor (1.7GHz Core 2 Duo or higher) then the disc will work. If it is a Windows disc then it will not work unless the Mac is running Windows.
For Mac, or PC?
