Squall as a person? no I don't think so. But given a gifted player maybe. I'll say possibly and heres why. In ff-7 cloud's party had combos like final attack/ phoenix which works great when you die. Squall, not so much. He just doesn't have the support of materia like cloud. Maybe if you had enough slots and drew enough magic, you could be immune to all his attacks. Ultima is non-elemental, correct? Enough defense and magic defense plus regen and haste would probably work as long as you had a ribbon or something along those lines.
