Yes, but the truth about it is it could be hacked which can sometimes delete a save file you made. If you do have a game corrupted, you could sell it or make a creepypasta on it. Rarely the game will not work if hacked.
Corrupted data is just your saved file of a game that didn't save correctly. You probably turned off your PSP while the game was saving. Most likely, you will have to restart that game that has the corrupted data.
Unlikely, since the card works under other modes. It is far more likely that the game has corrupted / missing files. Also, this has happened to me, the game is glitchy, and it does this not depending on your PC drive.
If its corrupted its corrupted for good but you can attempt to repair the game but you might end up destroying it more.
Enable VGA Mode

When you click on the file if its a video file it doesnt play or if its a word file, the content is messed up. Basically a file is corrupted if it does not have or give the intended contents or does not open
You can try "Safe-Mode".

Corrupted video on Kik refers to a video file that is damaged or incomplete, preventing it from being played correctly. This can happen due to various reasons, such as issues during the upload process, network interruptions, or incompatibility with the device. As a result, the video may appear distorted, freeze, or not play at all. Users may need to re-upload the video or check their device's compatibility to resolve the issue.
Premiere may not allow you to add a video to the timeline due to incompatible file formats, corrupted files, or insufficient system resources. Check the file format, ensure the file is not corrupted, and verify that your system meets the software's requirements.
