all servers pretty much don't allow griefing or raiding. you just need to learn how to on that specific server. here is a fun server i know:

I love going on pvp servers and raiding bases. You should try that
Flint and steel is used to start fires and can also be a source of griefing, especially on servers. They are also used to light Nether portals.
In minecraft survival you can just take any land but in servers you might have to use commands.
