Yes, once you've beat the game as Chris Redfield, you can play as Sheva Alomar in the main game.

Also in the Mercenaries you can play as Jill Valentine and Sheva Alomar in all of their alternative costumes.

The DLC:

Mercenaries Reunion: Jill Valentine, Sheva Alomar, Rebecca Chambers, and Excella Gione. - I do not have this content, so I do not know all of the females. But I do know you can play as them.

Desperate Escape: Jill Valentine.

Lost In Nightmares: Jill Valentine.
