Yes you can have kids on Sims 3 for the iPod, iphone and ipad but only on Sims 3 ambitions which you can buy in the app store.

First you have to get to the maximum friendship level which is spouse when you are married and make sure you have a cot in your house then go to romantic and pick try for a baby and that's it but you have to have a cot before you try for a baby and that's it.
