The headset would have to be directly plugged into your TV and Xbox. So yes, you can.
Well it really depends whether you wanted it for chat or for game sound if you want it for chat go for a Gio tech or a turtle beach PB, if you looking for a headset for game sound and a build in chat Mic get a turtle beach PX21.
Yes you can, but it is kind of tricky. First, buy a USB to 3.5mm adapter. Next, buy two 3.5mm "Y" adapters (one for the mic and one for the audio). Last, buy two 3.5mm wired headsets and connect them all together. This will allow two players to chat with other on-line players at the same time. This does not work for game sounds or audio from other media like movies, only for chat. Unfortunately, this does not work for USB headsets or Bluetooth headsets.
Nope, Tried playing Socom CA with xlink and plugged in the P11's to see if they would work but chat doesnt work. Just game audio.
I am not absolutely sure as to why the usb headset won't work but my best guess would be that the software needed to use the headset (if applicable) may not be able to downloaded using the console. Microsoft has released several different headsets for the chat feature. Two that i know of are the standard headset that comes with the XBox 360 Pro and Elite and Non Microsoft headsets made for the 360 like the Turtle Beach headset which will play game sounds in surround sound as well as party chat.
Yes, the Turtle Beach Ear Force PBT is compatible with computers. It connects via USB, allowing it to function with both Windows and Mac systems. Users can enjoy gaming and audio playback with the headset while utilizing its features, such as adjustable sound settings and chat functions. Make sure to install any necessary drivers for optimal performance.
The Xbox One's headphone jack is a standard 3.5mm audio jack, allowing it to connect with a variety of headphones and headsets. This compatibility enables users to enjoy audio for gaming and chat without needing specialized connectors.
As of October 2012, no turtle emoticon has been released via Facebook chat.
Turn up the headset volume
These devices are a total different purpose. HDMI is for visual and audio on a HD TV. Turtle Beach is for audio and/or online voice chat. So just plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI ports on your TV and Xbox. Plug you turtle beach headset into its specific port (USB).
i dont think so as my mic dose not even say it is plugged in when i go on to party chat. its a bummer really. :'(
the turtle beach xlc is the cheapest one althought it is cheaply made and is not worth getting, i would recommend getting the turtle beach x11, it is the next step up at $60 and is alot better quality, the sound, the mic and the everything else is nicer, because on the xlc you cant hear your friends in chat very well and it does not have a volume switch, and plus the x11 will last longer.
Any Turtle Beach will be better than the crappy Xbox communicator mic. The Turtle Beaches have game sounds and chat! This lets you hear everything in the game so much easier than when using TV speakers. Plus it's easier to talk to your teammates.
