No you can't because the whole point of an expansion pack is to improve and add to the same exsisting softwhere. if u put an expansion pack on your computer withot the main game you won't get much out of it and it may struggle to run on your computer without a base to set up.

Impossible. You need the original Age of Mythology before installing the expansion. That's why it's called expansion. It expands the original version. For the trial version, you don't have to install original first, but I don't think you want a trial, you probably want the full game.
