ctrl+shift+c changelotzoning residential. then your community lot is a residential lot.... your welcome
you can't, it has to be a community lot.
You can't really 'control' more than 8 sims at once but you could maybe take your household to a community lot where there will be more sims that you can interact with; or throw a party and invite over sims that you want in your movie.
Once you have placed the lot you can't change it to a community lot but when you are placing a lot it asks you wether you want it to be a community lot or a residential lot hope that helps :)
the sims one is outdated, the sims 2 or 3 has much better graphics and more options and a lot more fun than the sims 1.
Go into the lot you want to change by build mode, not by families. Once there, open the cheatbox and type: changelotzoning residential Type it just the way it is. Leave the lot to go back to the neighborhood and your once apartment lot will be changed into a residential lot.
Its really a matter of opinion but i think that Sims 2 PC is a lot better than Sims 2 PS2
Firstly, you need to be on a residential lot (aka not a lot which you made your sims go to, like the grocery in plasantview). the buy mode is down in the bottom left, with the picture of an armchair and a lamp.
Here's my opinion but I'll be very honest Sims 3 has a lot more realistic views and items but may lag because of the graphics Sims 2 has a lot more expansion packs and more places and items like fruit trees vampires werewolf's robots plantsims and zombies I like sims 2 more but sims 3 is better Chillichip here's my opinion: im starting to like the sims 3 more than the sims 2 because it's expanding with EPs and SPs. I bet every one will like the sims 3 more than 2 when the pets EP arrives!
In Sims 2 you can open 2 types of bars. Residential bars can be placed in residential lots or a community bar can be placed on a 2 by 3 plot of land in a community lot. Community bars will spawn a bartender.
Residential is a singular and plural word if you mean residential lot. "I live on a residential lot." ; "There are a lot of residential lots."
In The Sims and The Sims 2, families go into the family bin when they are moved out of a residential lot. In The Sims 3, families have unlimited uses, meaning that they will only disappear out of the bin if deleted.
