Can you play against Halo Reach players on Halo 3 ODST?

No you don't but you do get " Fire Fight " which is a Four Player campaign on Xbox Live and a Two Player Campaign on your Xbox....

But you do get a Halo 3 disk with all the multiplayer maps+the brand new ones

That did a little but do you know what is really gay. Its that you have to have friends with the game to play online firefight. You cant just find a match, you have to invite people into your party. But what if you dont have friends with the game? Well then it looks like halo 3 odst is just gonna sit there in its case forever. Bungie said that it would be easier to have friends to play with instead of strangers. But i dissagree because if you dont have friends then you will NEVER play online firefight.

Yes because if all the map packs, even the ones you don't own, on Halo 3 will be on the multiplayer disk that comes with ODST, unless you just buy the ODST game and not the multiplayer disk witch I don't think is possible.

No you can not because they are not the same.You can do it on halo3 and ODST because they have the same maps.Not campaign because they are not the same campaign.
