First, you need to have Wi-Fi Connection. On the main thing, after choosing your license, you go down 1 and choose either 1 or 2 players. After doing so, it chould read on the screen, "Connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi," or something around those lines. After that, you go to Friends. You press the A button. After that, there should be a Find a Friend button. Select it. If you didn't know, after connecting to the Nintendo Wi-Fi, you will get a license number, 12 letters long, I think. Either that or it is 16 letters. After you choose Find a Friend, you will most likely have to call your friend. Ask him to turn on the game and tell him not to select his license if he's already connected to Nintendo Wi-Fi before on the game. If not, tell him to do what you just did. After that, tell him to go back until he sees his license. After that, tell him to read it off as you put in the numbers on your screen. If he wants to find you also, let him do the same thing. Then, you are set to play with him. You can only play as long as he/she is on. Now, go back to Nintendo WFC, select 1 or 2 players, wait a moment to connect, go to Friends. When there is a friend playing, there should be a Smiley Face next to the Friend icon. Then, you will know that your friend is on. Select your friend, and you will start playing with him in the race with other players, if available.
