Can you throw knives on cod modern warfere 1?

Go to Equipment in the create a class menu, you should unlock the Throwing Knife at lvl 7, just put Throwing Knife on as your Equipment, then, when in game, just push the R2 button to throw it. (R2 is the button to throw it on Ps3, i'm not sure what button it is for PC or Xbox)

You have confused the names of two different Call of Duty series games. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and the two sequels MW2 and MW3 and Call of Duty World at War. There are throwing Knives in the call of Duty series, but not in the two games you named mostly they are in MW2 and MW3, but also make an appearance in Black Ops and is later replaced with the Tomahawk and the Nintendo DS version of Black Ops a throwing knife is used by converting the player's own knife in a ranged weapon, via the ADS button.

you only get throwing knives on the last level when you have to kill Shepherd but in multiplayer you get to level 7 and you can use it :)

you have to have it in your custom class under "equipment" . select it and on Xbox 360 you press RB to throw it at your target. idk it on ps3 :)

No, you cannot throw knives in COD Modern Warfare though Modern Warfare 2 allows the feature.

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet although, due to the inclusion of throwing weapons in previous titles, it is possible that such a feature will be included.
