The Golden Shovel Cheat

First, you have to buy two normal shovels. Then bury one of your shovels with the other shovel. The next day, dig the shovel up and it will be a golden shovel.

Money Trees

When you have the golden shovel, you can plant a money tree. All you have to do is plant some bells with the golden shovel. But, if you plant small amounts your tree may not grow money. This is how it works.

Plant 1,000 bells- One percent chance of growing.

Plant 10,000 bells- Ten percent chance of growing.

You can only pick money of a tree once, after that it becomes a normal tree.

Special Axes

When you donate 500,000 bells, you get a fountain. If you throw yopu axe in the fountain a magic goddess comes up. She may give you a gold or silver axe. The gold axe is unbreakable and so is the silver axe.

Okay, here are a few.

Here goes:

Cash cheat:

Be warned, this will make your town get tonnes of weeds, messy hair, people won't remember you and your house will get cockroaches.

1) Save and quit.

2) Change date on wii menu to whatever the date is but change the year to 2000.

3) Go back onto the game and save and quit. Go back to the wii menu and change the date to whatever the date is but change the year to 2035.

4) Return to the game and save. Then, press A and go on the game again.

4) You receive a Bellpoint notice containing 99,000 bells. (see the clone cheat for a way to double this money!)

(Sorry if this doesn't work! I can't remember how to do it!)

ATM bank:

If you deposit 999,999,999 bells into your bank you receive an ATM bank!

Wisp the ghost:

1) On Monday nights, go to the south east corner of your town.

2) A voice will speak when you arrive.

3) Follow the direction of the voice until you find the source - Wisp the ghost.

4) He will tell you that he has lost his lamp and you need to find it.

5) When you have found it, go to your bedroom and Wisp will be there.

6) He will grant you a wish, but the catch is that he will only obey certain wishes such as ridding your town of weeds etc.

Items:

Donate 20,000 bells to town funds for an extra bridge.

Donate 50,000 bells to town funds for a fountain.

Donate 1 million bells to town funds for a windmill or a lighthouse.

100 million bells = green feather

200 million bells = blue feather

300 million bells = yellow feather

400 million bells = red feather

etc.....

Deposit prizes:

1) 10,000 = shopping card

2) 100,000 = box of tissues

3) VIP status = Gold shopping card

Waving at neighbours:

If you want to attract your neighbours' attention without having to run over and speak to them, then you can sometimes wave to them! If they are on the other side of a river and you are in line with them on the other side, point at them with your wii remote and press A. They will wave at you. If it doesn't work, you might not be in line with them correctly.

You cannot wave at them again until you have left the acre and then returned.

Mortgages:

1st mortgage - 19,800 bells - Larger main room

2nd mortgage - 120,000 bells - Larger main room

3rd expansion - 248,000 bells - Upstairs room

4th expansion - 368,000 bells - Basement

Final mortgage - 598,000 bells - Flag and you've paid off your house!

To get 38,000 bells sell the following items:

4 shells

+4 coconuts

+4 egg items (from bunny day)

= 38,000 (or something like that)

Cloning an item:

* This requires internet connection and access to a friend's town.

1) Go to your friend's town and bring the item you want to clone in your pockets.

2) Drop the item on the town hall plaza.

3) Get your friend to save the session.

5) Go to the gate and ask Copper to let you go home.

6) When Copper says 'Well then (your name)' press the reset button (or press home and press the reset button there).

7) The title screen will show up. Press A and start the game again.

8) Check your pockets. The item you left on the plaza should still be in your pockets!

9) The cloned item will be in your friends town! Go back to collect it or let your very patient friend keep it! This can be done again and again.

If you want to clone money, earn 1 million, drop all the money bags on the plaza and repeat the cheat again and again for easy cash!
