Actually, all you need is an s-video cable. You can usually get them at dollar stores. On most laptops, like my HP, there is a little plug that looks like where you would plug in a mouse on a desktop PC. That's where you plug the cord in. On the TV, there is usually the same plug. It is commonly used to connect DVD players. Some TV's will not have them, though. Hope That Helps!
To connect an output plug to an input plug on a TV, you'll need to ensure that both plugs are compatible in terms of type (e.g., HDMI, VGA, etc.). You may require an appropriate adapter or cable that matches the output of your device and the input of the TV. Simply plug one end into the output device and the other end into the TV's input port, then select the corresponding input source on the TV to display the content. Make sure all devices are powered on for the connection to work properly.
You'll need an HDMI cable
If your old TV has standard Audio Video input (3 connector Red, White, Yellow) you can connect XBOX 360 to it. If it is a very old TV with just an RF (coaxial) cable input then you need to buy an RF modulator to connect this system or any other DVD player to the TV. - Neeraj Sharma
You will need the 3 yellow red & white cables to connect into the same colored holes in the front of the TV. If the TV doesn't have those holes, you'll need a video adapter. To use that, plug the small end into the PS2, unplug the video feed on the TV, and then plug the other end of the cable into the video input plug. If you don't want to have to keep unplugging & replugging it, plug the TV video feed into the input socket on the side of the adapter, so you can turn off the PS2 & it'll go back to regular TV.
A Sony LCD HD TV can be plugged into a laptop. You need a HDMI cable in order to do this.
