Do playstation 2 games work on ps3?

The answer is no. If you have a psp slim and an HDTV though, there is a way to play on your big screen. The psp slim has a video output that connects to your HDTV and there you go! Older psp don't have this output unfortunately.

No not any new PS3. They have not made a PS3 that plays PS2 games for years. In August 2008 production Models did not play PS2 games. Before that only 4 USB port PS3 models did and that did not include any of the 40 GB models even though some were made before August 2008

Yes from the PlayStation Store you can download and store the games and then play them with the PSP
