No you need Xbox Live only for the Xbox Version of the Black Ops or World at War games. The PS3 games need the Playstation Network to get the map packs. By the way there are no Zombie Map Packs and are only Call of Duty Map Packs that contain 1 Zombie map with other maps except the Rezurrection Map Pack with 5 Zombie maps

You can buy PS3 Maps from the PlayStation Store World at War $10 each 3 for $25 and Black Ops First Strike $15 PC games have there own system. If they let people download the Maps and move them on a Flash drive how would they control abuse of the DLCs
