No. GameStop only takes in used games and sends them to be refurbished at their warehouse. The refurbished games are then sent back to the retail stores to be resold as used titles.
What this means for the customer:
1. Will GameStop refurbish my game so that I can pick it up at a later date?
No. That service is not offered.
2. Can I trade in my game if it needs refurbished?
Yes, you can. GameStop will then either issue trade-in credit or cash to you, depending on your preference. You will NOT get your game back after trading it in.
They did mine but it didn't work. it set me back 5 bucks.
However, most GameStops don't refinish game anymore.
Try going to CDFixers.com
They will professionally refinish your game disc for really cheap. The completely removed the circle scratch that GameStop couldn't. Game works perfectly now. They guarantee their work too.
I don't think GameStop will fix your PS3. They are Places online the advertise PS3 repair and they also list many of the starting prices after you ship it to them. With Walmart's 2011 Black Friday price of $199.99 for a PS3 160GB with 2 games you might find it a better investment to just replace your old PS3 with a new console and full warranty.
No. You must call Nintendo. If your wii has a warranty, they will fix it for free . If not, you will have to pay for repairs.
gamestop
Gamestop will clean some xBox 360 game discs.
At gamestop
no it costs $90 to repair
No it does not, many discs can be cheaply replaced with used games rather than trying to repair them
You can try Gamestop, or Movie Trading Company. They both repair games for a fair price.
Sony will charge over 100$, gamestop MIGHT offer repair services for 80$
I only changed the front disc brakes, changed the discs and the pads for about $160 CAN, and I changed them myself so that was simply the price for the discs and pads.
Usually stores like Game Crazy and the Radio Shack Repair Center offer to buffer discs, but buffering is for scratches in discs, I'm not sure if it can fix a crack.

Hard to say It would all have to depend on the discs involved and the nerves that pass between them. However the body does not repair damaged discs can grow spurs and cause increasing disability.
The general procedure is to boot the console, and test with two to three game disc types (i.e. - blue back discs, standard ps2, and ps1 discs). Most reps however, generally only test with one game or DVD movie...
