There is a Basic Membership for Moshi Monsters which is free, but you will not be able to do all the activities or catch all the Moshlings. With a Basic Membership, you can get all of the moshlings except the ones that need a Snap Apple, a Crazy Daisy, or that are part of a Super Moshi Mission. You can keep 2 moshlings in your house and keep one moshling in your backyard.

Where can you get 40 free moshi member accounts?
You can not get free Moshi Member accounts. Moshi Member accounts are the paid memberships on Moshi Monsters. You can get free 3 day Moshi Memberships from someone who buys a Moshi Gift Pack, but once the 3 days are up, you either have to pay to keep the Moshi Membership or the account changes to a free Basic Member account.
Is there a free user which is a moshi member?
Yes, for a limited time, with a special code, free Basic Members have been able to have a Moshi Member account. There are two types of membership on Moshi Monsters, a free Basic Membership and a paid Moshi Membership. At times, Moshi Monsters has given out codes for either a 24 hour or a 3 day free Moshi Membership, but at the end of the time period, the account becomes a free Basic Account unless you pay to keep the paid Moshi Member account.

When you have a free trial membership, you have access to a paid Moshi Member account. When the free trial runs out, if you do not purchase a paid membership, you lose access to the paid account, but all the Moshlings remain in that paid member account. You then have access to a free Basic Member account and have two of your moshlings in that basic account. If you ever purchase a paid Moshi Member account, all the moshlings will still be in that account.
