No, it does not. However, if you want to access the features of registration, sharing, and YouTube, you will have to be online. I recommend being online to share your creations but it is not a necessary. Spore can run without online communications. But you can download the Spore Creature Creator Trial online/on the website, and you can order/preorder the games if you wanted to if you had an account, too. Posting in the Sporum requires an account online, too.

There is Spore, the game, and the Spore Creature Creator, which is part of the game. All versions of Spore the game have the Spore Creature Creator included with them. It is true that the Spore Creature Creator can be played with by itself, but it is not a game...it is a neat art tool.
You have to download a part of it.
no unfortunetly not
Spore Actually has More Parts than the creator does. Source: I am a big fan of spore and have played both games.
you register it so you can play online.
The spore creature creator manual provides a comprehensive guide on how the spore creature is to be played. It contains all the steps in detail and the various levels.
spore
to get spore you just buy ityou can either download online (EA store) or go to your nearest games store (I got mine at best buy)
Spore is not a massively multi-player online role playing game. Instead, it is referred to as a massively single-player online [real time strategy/god/life simulation] game, or merely just a massively single-player online game.
Yes, but you need to buy Spore itself as well. Check EA's website, you can also keep a neat donwload manager that tracks all your downloaded EA games, like Spore.
