Yes, you use points to buy things and in order to get points you have to pay for them.
most websites don't make you pay to download custom content. but there are a few sites that make you pay a "donation"
Yes unless its a demo or a free special offer
From the Sims 3 Store. You have to buy it (which is annoying, since we already pay for the game...).

There won't be a UMD Disc tray so you can't play normal games, you will have to pay for full PSP games on PlayStation Store
You have to download it from the app store and pay 5 bucks
the only way to get sims for free is to get it from a friend or do something illegal so i would recommend that you just pay for it at a store or but online
Double click on the song in Limewire and it automatically downloads it to your iTunes Library.
Unfourtunatley there is no such thing as Sims Online because The Sims requires a download and in order to download it you'd have to purchase it from a store because it also requires a CD & a bar code.
You pay for virtual console downloads through points cards. $20 is worth 2000 points.
no, they are free
First of all, make sure you didn't get a PIRATED COPY!!!!!! Pirating games is illegal and can crash your computer. The Sims 3 game that leaked on the internet WAS NOT THE FULL GAME. If you've absolutely downloaded it from The Sims 3 website or EA, then I suggest you check the website, and if you didn't pay, you probably have received a pirated copy. I actually highly suggest you buy The Sims 3, and not download it. You can only get the real Sims 3 at a store.
