Some might, but most Video Games vary.
for instance there is Madworld which is bloody, and there is Mario Kart which is fun and kid friendly, in my opinion video games vary!
i disagree it actually depends on who is playing. (guildwars2)
it depends how old he is. if he is eight, proba a probably half a hour a hour at the most. because violent video games encourage them to be violent.
This is learned behaviour from being immersed in watching violent television shows, and video games.
Uh...no! Violent video games encourage violent behavior. And halo games are very violent. Is that really what you want for a 10 - year old?
It isnt a proven fact video games cause violet behaviour. Just because someone plays video games does not make them violent. We are exposed to many, many, many more example of violence in the media and everyday life than in video games. There have been many, many, MANY research studies into the topic, without proven and conclusive results. However, the argument is that people actually become involved in violent behavour in the game, which can make them believe than violent behaviour is acceptable. People also believe it can distort a childs perception of death, where they think that 'respawning' is real, and that they can't die. Another argument is that people can become obsessed with video games, not sleeping much, or eating what their body needs. This itself is a form of selfharm and can lead a person to agressive and violent behaviour.
No violent games/films don't cause that behaviour. Its that parents blame video games/films for teens being out of control, doing drugs, gang-banging, etc. But as I said before violent games/films do not cause this behaviour. I should know because I've watched "violent" films and played "violent" games since I was little. I am a normal adult and am non-violent.
Depends on the person/game
No, violent video games teach kids about life and how it is and how it will be in the modern age...
The worst video games for children are violent video games because they teach the child playing the game to be violent and in some cases to make the child think that it is ok to be violent.
Video games do not make kids violent.
I know a lot about violent video games because I researched on it, there are 90 percent of majority who are against video games and only 10 percent of majority who likes their children to play these violent video games!
