To get a martial home, go up to any house that you own and press "A" at the scroll. There will be a choice there to "set as martial home." Choose that and you will then have the home chosen for that family. If you propose in front of the Oakfield Demon Door, it will open, and you will find a place called Serenity Farm. You'll automatically own it, and it can be reached instantly via the locations section of the menu.
