Defeating all the legacy bosses is ls less difficult than the act of obtaining all of their maps. While some are quest based, others require you to grind against other legacy bosses, and Greygnarl until they drop the maps. However once you've done that, even the hardest legacy bosses like Nokturnus are not too much of a hassle while they are only Lv1.

It's impossible for anyone to give a specific answer - instead look up an online guide that has pictures of every map location - match yours up to it and it will tell you where in the world it is found.
