How Do you get Lloyd in tales of symphonia 2?

Do get all of Lloyd's artes or any other characters artes depends on how you raise the character. It also depends on how many times you use a certain Arte. When you open the menu and you see the characters in your party and the level and HP and TP gauge. You should see something that looks like this: T<<<<>>>>S which ever direction the reddish arrows point to is the type of your character is.

T= Technical

S= Strike

This should take you directly to a chart that tells you the Arte Name, Type(T or S), Max hits, TP cost and the level at which you get the arte. After that it'll list the requirements to get that arte.

I.E. Lightning Thrust- Max Hits=2 Attack Type= -(this means neither t or s type) TP Cost=5 Level= - (This means you can do it at any level) (this is the level you must be at. I think you can get it if your past that level) (this means whenever doesn't matter. Will usually have a number)

Requirements

• Use Sonic Thrust 200+ times
• Be Dealing Lightning Damage(The Sword Shiden is what you use)
• Activate by using sonic thrust once all conditions are met

They List the Artes by Level as in demon fag is a Lv.1 attack while Demonic Chaos is a Lv.3 attack.

If you go into the TECH LIST it will tell you on the description what level it is and how many times you've used it.

If you want to get these techs the next time around i insist when you beat it and play over and go to the GRADE MENU choose the one that transfers over all your Techs and spells(1000 Grade). This way you keep the techs that you got last time and can get the new ones the next time you play. You don't have to but it helps: pick the one that lets you keep the number of time you've used the tech/spell as well(25 Grade).

If you want the list of other artes for other characters scroll all the way down until you reach a chart with the other characters names. You can choose the ARTES for that character as well as the EX SKILLS and TITLES.

It'll also list the "Hi Ougi" or Mystic Arte.Lloyd's is Faclon's Crest. It will also list the conditions you must meet. One is Health needs to be 16% of max this means that it should extremely low. I'm playing again and my Lloyd has an HP of 4145 if you take that and multiply it by .16 you should get the number.

4145x.16=663 you must be as low or lower than this to perform it.

If its at its max 9999 then you 9999x.16=1599. I Think this is right i don't know.

When you do this you must be using the Material Sword and have the Eternal Swordsman Title on.

Then press A+B+X at the same time (Timing is Crucial) ( Or O+X+Square on the PS2 version)

How to get him as a playable character? You just have to get far enough in the game. There isn't really much you can do. After you beat _____ in Altramira, then you get him. He helps you actually :D
