Defeating team New World means winning three consequtive duels, which can be fairly daunting. The good news, however, is that the trio lacks some "basic" Spells and Traps like "Dimmensional Prison". This means that it will typically be safer for you to attack or play defensively. One other key piece of information to remember is that your cards will carry over into the next duel; which can be good or bad.

But you can use the fact that cards will carry over into the next duel by building a basic stall-and-burn deck (this is how I won). At this point in the game, hopefully you've purchased the Fire structure deck which will give you "UFO Turtle" and "Solar Flare Dragon".

Spend the first duel building up your defense and getting two or more "Solar Flare Dragon" cards out at the same time for a lockdown. Since the trio does not possess many, if any, cards to destroy your Spells, Traps, and Monsters (aside from using the effect of "Speed World 2"), you can practically sit there and win since your same lockdown or stalling cards will carry over.

Admitedly, this isn't a very thrilling way to beat the story mode and save the world, but it might save you some frustration...
