Getting Police Helicopter on San AndreasThere are several ways that I have found to get the Police Maverick:

1. --In Los Santos on top of the police station there is a helipad. I have found the Police Maverick to spawn there a couple of times. Every time I have got it, it has been on a Saturday (in the game, obviously). It may just be coincidence, or it may only spawn on Saturdays.

   --In the San Fierro on the big helipad (the same one as you infiltrate for a mission strand) at City Hall you can also find a randomly-spawned Police Maverick. (I'm not sure what days this is.. it seems random.)

2. If you have unlocked the Jet pack, get a 3-star wanted level to get the police helicopters after you. Use the jet pack and land on top of a Police Helicopter. (yes you really can stand on top of it as is is flying/hovering). Once landed on top of the flying helicopter, press Triangle (if you're playing on PS2, otherwise whatever the open doors button is on your console) to drop the jet pack. Move around carefully on top of the flying helicopter, repeatedly pressing the open door button until Carl hijacks the Police Maverick from the pilot. BE CAREFUL! As soon as you enter the aircraft be ready to start flying immediately, or you will crash to a fiery death to the ground below.

   *Also, if you can time it and position yourself perfectly, you can go right from dropping the jet pack to hijacking the helicopter in one button press... This takes some practice... or pure luck.

3. If you find it too hard to land on the helicopter roof or to get in it after landing on its roof then go to a electric pilon/radio mast and land on the top of it the take of your get pack and wait for a minute or 2 for the police helicopter to stop flying all over the place and you can get in the helicopter(once close enough).

4.go to the resricted area near bone county, go to the smallest fence in the restricted area, and next to the patriot and barrack, is the army helicopter (cargo bob)

be carefull when takeing off there though there are sams all around the base
