Like any normal monster, you kill it. Use a strong water weapon to kill it though. Water weapons are the only weapons effective against the doom kitten. EDIT 1: or follow the bacon origin quest to get the chickencow suit, its very good against DoomKitten. you get the quest from Valencia.
