What are Halo 3 achievements?
Halo 3 achievements give you gamerscore points. These can be accumulated between different games on Xbox and Xbox360. To see a list of these, click the middle Xbox button, like how you would normally turn on a controller, and click on the top most option where it says your name, then a list of games should come up. Simply find halo 3, click on it, and then you can view the achievements that you have already achieved or that you still need to achieve.

The new xbox probably will not come out until around 2013 or 2014, because the graphics on the 360 are already very good and there isn't much more they can do.
